‘Castledale’ is a line of sheep that we are developing here at Beersheba Farm. They aren’t found anywhere else!
The micron range tends to be mid-20s and they are chosen to handle and spin well. The spun yarn has a lovely sheen to it.
We don’t hold many fleeces back from processing to sell as raw fleece so grab it while you can!
NB. All our raw fleece comes from unrugged sheep who live outdoors 24/7. This means that dust penetration and small amounts of vegetable matter will be present and vary seasonally. Staple/Fibre length naturally varies over a fleece – we try to limit that in part fleeces.
