The Cormo breed of sheep was developed in Bothwell, Tasmania by the Downie family. This beautiful handling style of fleece is often difficult to get hold of.
A select number of fleeces were made available by the Downie family for the 2017 Bothwell SpinIn and Fibre Festival.
This coloured fleece is a real treat! It’s soft and has a wonderful handle. The colour is similar to a espresso (or dark chocolate!) with a small amount of greying present. (Hard to photograph, the pic with the ruler is the most accurate.) Grab it while you can!
NOTE: This fleece is RAW, unwashed wool and will contain small amounts of vegetable matter as the sheep live outdoors.
